Location information
The special location of Bhere Tsige Park is in Wind Phone Lafto District, District 10, within the Addis Ababa area.
Bhere Tsige Park was developed in 1957 during the reign of Emperor Haile Selassie by Mr. Sebhatu. Although it has been in service for many years, some structures are damaged and aging due to pressure.
The park boasts various attractions including zoo animals, seedling breeding greenhouses and stations, a one-story building shaped like a fossil tower, predominantly indigenous trees, 50 species of birds and monkeys, the small Akaki river passing through the middle, and a landscape with unique natural beauty.
While additional constructions and infrastructures have been added for park use, there is no site plan detailing the development, aside from the title map. Despite the existence of a water storage pond built during the park's establishment, it does not provide service. Sri Fez Light has a counter and line. The sidewalks within the park have copper satin roads and parking places. There is also a small nursery within the park. However, the park's toilets are inadequate from the user's perspective.
The park has a complete park management structure with a hierarchy, and rangers, cashiers, and guards are permanently employed in the office.
Bhere Tsige Park offers payment services for weddings, birthdays, and other entertainment services. The entrance fee is 10 Birr, and tour services are available via ticket purchase. Animal visiting services are also offered. The green space of the park is maintained to a standard that is both beautiful and attractive.
